All Clear

My dad finished his chemo a few weeks ago. And yesterday he had his follow-up scope to check the surface of his bladder for regrowth of the tumors.

EEE: Hi Dad, how was your follow-up?
Dad: It was great! There's nothing I love more than having a scope snaked up my penis.
EEE: *choking* Dammit, Dad! How were the RESULTS of your scope?
Dad: Fine. Fine.
EEE: No new tumors?
Dad: Nope. Some scarring but no new growth.

I love you, Daddy.

I'm so glad your dad got the "clear-all". I'm sure you took a big breathe in filling up your lungs completely and then smiled when you heard that. Bet you didn't even realize how much you were holding your breath on it.
